Marshall Pride Community Swap Meet!

Looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon while giving new life to items you no longer need?

Join Marshall Pride for our Community Swap Meet on Saturday, August 15, from 1:30–4:30 PM at Sherman Park!

Bring a blanket or set up a pop-up tent and display your treasures. Whether it's books, games, clothes, household items, craft supplies, collectibles, or something completely unexpected, if you're ready to part with it, bring it along!

**Trade it.**
**Give it away.**
**No selling, please.**

This is all about sharing, reducing waste, and building community.

Have kids? Encourage them to clean out their toy boxes and bring toys, books, or games they'd like to trade with other children. It's a great way for them to discover something "new" while learning about sharing and sustainability.

Bring your friends, meet new people, and enjoy an afternoon of community, conversation, and great finds. We can't wait to see what treasures everyone brings!

Join us for Marshall Pride’s first Community Exchange event!

📆 August 15th, 2026

🕖 1:30-4:30pm

📍Shearman Park, on the corner of Linden and Mansion Streets.

Please keep in mind, this is a trading and sharing event, no monetary exchanges AT ALL, just community connection and mutually agreed upon trades. The goal is to meet our neighbors and trade things or services that may not fit our needs anymore but maybe someone else’s, while building community relationships.

Bring a chair or blanket, lay out your wares and connect with each other.

Play guitar? We’d love some tunes, bring it!

Board games or yard games you want to play with others? Game on, bring it!

Invite your kids to come, too! Encourage them to bring toys or games that they are comfortable trading, crafts they want to share with others, or just to build friendships on the playground.

We will be collecting non-perishable food donations for Marshall Community Services at this event.

Let’s talk about what our community needs, what our neighbors need, what we ourselves need.
