The Marshall Regional Arts Council has combined a couple of Third Saturday Weekends into A History & Music Friendly Weekend taking place April 5-8. Yes, we know that is the first weekend in April, but we found a way to bring you even more of our arts, history, and culture in Marshall and Harrison County. The Marshall Regional Arts Council would like to thank Texas Monthly Magazine, the National Magazine of Texas, for helping us put together the promotion of the great experiences people can have in East Texas April 5-8, 2024. Our weekend of events will take you out the Caddo Lake National Wildlife Refuge and directly to a prime viewing spot in the center of the Total Eclipse of the Sun taking place on April 8. Come experience what East Texas has to offer.

A reminder that the Young Masters grant application deadline is November 1-- that's about 2 weeks from now!

Are you a highly talented artist in grade 8-11 this year? Would you like some funding to hone your craft before you go to college? The Young Masters program is taking applications now through November 1! Selected artists will receive grants of $5,000 a year for up to two years and life-changing opportunities for growth in their artistic disciplines.
