On behalf of the Marshall High School Air Force Junior ROTC program, thank you for your continued support of our cadets and their service to the Marshall community.
Our cadets have earned the Silver Star Community Service Award three of the past four years, placing them among the top 5 percent of JROTC units worldwide! Our mission is to develop citizens of character through leadership, teamwork, community service, and educational experiences. We rely heavily on fundraising and the generosity of our community to provide these opportunities.
This year, we are launching our “Holiday Calendar” fundraiser to help send our cadets to Hawaii! This educational trip will provide opportunities to visit historic sites such as Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial, and the USS Missouri, giving our cadets a firsthand look at our nation's military history and the sacrifices made by those who served. In addition, they will receive an experience that they may never get again.
Throughout December, our Holiday Calendar will feature 31 days of prizes! Tickets will cast $10 each, and every ticket will remain eligible for ALL drawings throughout the month. To make this fundraiser successful, we are seeking donated prizes from local businesses & community partners.
Our goal is to offer prizes valued at a minimum of $50 each day, with several special days featuring even larger rewards! Examples of prizes we are seeking include:
• Airbnb stays, hotel accommodations, and vacation packages
• Gaming systems, electronics, and other high-value items
• Massages, spa packages, and salon services
• Restaurant, retail, and Visa gift cards, Boutique Gift Packages
• Oil changes, vehicle detailing, and automotive services
All donations are greatly appreciated, regardless of value! Smaller donations may be combined to create larger prize packages. Winners will be announced on the Marshall High School JROTC page, along with recognition of the sponsoring business or individual.
While we cannot award cash prizes, we may purchase Visa gift cards or distribute sponsored items on your behalf. We simply ask that donated prizes have expiration dates extending through at least June 2027, as prizes will be distributed during the December/January timeframe.
Your contribution directly supports our cadets' leadership development, educational opportunities, and unforgettable experiences. We value our partnerships with Marshall's businesses and supporters and are committed to representing our community with pride.
