The local organization, Partnering With Parents, was pleased with the overwhelming turnout at their recent program, “Family, Fun, Everything Food” night. Keynote speaker, Angela Fry, presented valuable information on how everyday habits can support a calmer, more manageable home life for families. 20 crockpots were given away and every child created their own healthier version of a lunchable meal. Families also took home a hardback family cookbook, crockpot recipes, and reading books for families to enjoy. Thank you all for your support. We look forward to our next event coming this fall with a focus on “Living With Technology and Healthy Alternatives.”
