Treat Family History presentation coming to the Searcy County Historical Society on Friday, June 26, in the Searcy County Library, 202 East Main, at 7:00 pm. Guest speaker will be Darryl Treat, who has done significant research in New England on the Treat family which has been in Searcy County since before 1850, maybe much before 1850! The Treat family is widespread with many branches and most Searcy County families have Treat relatives, so Darryl’s presentation should interest a large portion of Searcy County folks. Darryl plans to look at Treat history from England to 21st Century America and delve into some fun stories and fun facts about Treat descendants in the United States!
