Memorial Day 05/26/25 program at the Searcy County Veterans Memorial Hall. Held inside due to rain (and not on the town square as planned). Well attended. Also, two scholarships were awarded from the SCVMA to Alexa G. and Addison B. for their continued studies in high education.

Quilts of Valor presentation May 17, 2025 held at the Searcy County Veteran's Memorial Hall and sponsored by the Searcy County Quilt Guild. 12 veterans was honored. Special music was by Barbara and Gary West. Many thanks to our quilters for providing the quilts for this project. God Bless our Service men.

What is the meaning of Memorial Day? Please join us as we honor those who died in time of war. Our Memorial Day speaker on Monday, 26 May 11am at the Veteran's Memorial Hall in Marshall is Chief Warrant Officer Four (R) Jason Nazarenko, an Arkansas State Representative and a graduate of Cotter, Arkansas! He entered the United States Army on September 11th, 1996 and served 23 years, retiring in October 2019. His last 10 years were spent flying Black Hawk helicopters with the Army’s elite special operations aviation unit known as the Nightstalkers. CW4 (R) Nazarenko deployed over a dozen times overseas. Please come join us!
