Harrison County owns 40+ acres behind the Ag Farm on Warren Drive. Some of it is open land and other parts are wooded. We'd like to hear from the community your thoughts on what you'd like to see done on the property. The WE Align Council recently met to hear an update from Del Boyette, Boyette Strategic Advisors, on the strategic planning process and the positive impact it will have on the Marshall community. Boyette also led a roundtable discussion focused on the shared vision for Marshall and invited partners to discuss leading areas of opportunity and how, through collaboration, those priorities can be advanced. The conversation emphasized the importance of strong partnerships between industry, workforce, and education to strengthen talent pipelines and expand career pathways. Our education partners ETBU, Marshall ISD, Wiley College, and TSTC shared encouraging updates on new programs and recent successes, reinforcing the collective commitment to preparing Marshall’s future workforce.

Trinity Episcopal Church has placed a Blessing Box outside at 106 N. Grove Street in Marshall, across from the church by the old Trinity school building.

If you’re having trouble making ends meet, this box is there for you. If you’re blessed with extra, it’s a place to give back. Take what you need, or leave what you can.

The blessing box is always open and outside, so no appointment is needed; you can go at your convenience.
