National Senior Health and Fitness Day is a reminder that healthy aging means staying active, connected, and supported. Daily movement and good nutrition are critical, as are ensuring our seniors have access to the care and community they deserve. Texas seniors deserve a coordinated approach to aging services. I passed legislation in 2023 establishing the Statewide Interagency Aging Services Coordinating Council to help make that vision a reality.

It’s never too late to prioritize your health, no matter your age. Do something today that the future you will thank you for! 💪🧡
