PLEASE NOTE: All events for the season have concluded. This includes Santa visits, trolley rides, and the drive-through option. Vehicle access through the park is no longer permitted.

You are welcome to walk through Independence Park and enjoy the lights through January 1.

Thank you for your continued support. If you wish to donate to Prairie Home Hospice while visiting, donation boxes are located near the entrances of each parking lot.

Just a quick reminder that we work hard to keep the lights and displays running smoothly each night, but sometimes the weather has other plans. Moisture, snow, and damp conditions can cause safety systems to trip, and when that happens we have to wait for things to dry before power can be restored.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we navigate the elements. Our team is out in the park daily doing everything we can to keep the experience bright and enjoyable for all.

Safety Concern - We have received reports of individuals driving through the park on non-scheduled Drive Through days and hours. Drive-through options are ONLY available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 5-8 pm and are guided through the park with a Ranger. These are regulated for the safety of participants who use the park on non-event nights. Please abide by these guidelines for the safety of all during this holiday season.
