The Planning Board did a great job listening to public input and making changes to the proposed Biomass rules during the Planning Board meeting on March 19th.

Once approved by the County Commissioners, this latest draft of the rules will help protect farmers and landowners from having a biomass facility or as a neighbor.

The recommendations will go to the county commissioners next, who will decide whether to approve the recommended Land Use Ordinance changes.

The Planning Board Meets Tues, Feb 20th, 6:30PM at the Marshall Library to make recommendations on proposed Land Use Ordinance Rules to our County Commmissioners regarding Biomass Plants.

Please attend and/or let Commissioners know that Big Biomass Plants don't belong in Rural/Agricultural zoning districts.
