On November 8th, the Marseilles VFW Post 5506 donated to the Marseilles PD program to "Shop with a Cop". This program helps children have a better Christmas by providing money to buy winter clothes, shoes, toys and other essentials. We thank the Marseilles Police Department for their continued service to the community.

The August meeting for the post is in the books. Thank you all who attended. Also, we discussed tonight about helping existing and creating our own events within the community. Monday members of the post will be about town dropping off fliers for the youth essay programs and meeting with city hall to lock in dates for events in Marseilles.
