Today’s mission: burn the string 🔥

We learned how to properly set up a fire—starting from structure, airflow, and ignition, all the way to maintaining a steady flame. Not as simple as it sounds. It took focus, patience, and a few adjustments along the way.

End result: mission accomplished. The string burned.

Small task, but a clear reminder—control the setup, and the outcome follows.

Today is STEM Day.

No worksheets,just kids building, testing, and trying again.

Straw rockets powered by how hard they blow.

Marshmallow and stick structures (a lot of collapsing and rebuilding).

Foam tube marble runs, redesigned over and over to keep things moving.

And a DIY catapult—spoons, sticks, and rubber bands in action.

It’s messy, a little chaotic, and very fun.

This is what STEM really looks like: not perfect results, but constant experimenting, adjusting, and figuring things out.

Cubs Food Drive – A Huge Thank You to Our Neighborhood!

Last week, our Cub Scouts went around the neighborhood distributing Food Drive door hangers, and their enthusiasm was contagious. The Cubs were excited to help spread the word and support families in need.

This week, we collected the donations, and the response from our neighbors was incredible. In fact, this was the largest amount we’ve collected so far!

Thank you to everyone in the neighborhood for your generosity and support. And a special shout-out to all the Cubs who worked so hard to make this possible. We’re proud of our Cubs and grateful for such a caring community!

It’s Olympic Games time at Scouts! 🏅🔥

What a day!

Each den proudly designed their own team flag to kick things off, then we passed the torch in a relay to officially open our games!

From there, the competition (and fun!) began:

🌊 Creek Crossing
🎯 Javelin Throw
🥏 Disc Toss
🏃‍♂️ Biathlon

There was cheering, teamwork, and determination. The kids showed incredible sportsmanship, encouraged one another, and gave it their all.

So proud of their energy, courage, and team spirit today!
