Voucher Holders Purchase Homes through Housing Program!
You can too!
Another voucher holder buys home with HSDD program
Michelle Thompson and Giles Duplechin are the two newest homeowners that used their housing voucher to transition into homeownership. In this unique case, they were able to purchase the home that they were already renting for many years.
"We are excited to have another client take the leap of faith and join our program," said Courtney Paul, Director of Resident Programs. "Every time someone completes the program it's another person who can experience the American Dream."
Our housing coordinators build partnerships with employers and service providers in the community to help participants obtain jobs and services. These services may include childcare, transportation, basic adult education, job training, employment counseling, financial empowerment coaching, asset-building strategies, homeownership counseling, and more.
