Subject: Help Us Get The Needed Letters To Washington.... We need you to step up and be a part of our Legislative Action to pass the HOA Bill
Hey, all Michigan Hams and Clubs,
Your dedication to Amateur Radio and public service is truly inspiring.
But… I will say this; you’re not holding a candle to the folks in
Ohio for getting your letters into Washington. Right now, Ohio is
beating the pants off of you for getting letters submitted both by hams
as well as by clubs and I’m really sure that you won’t let that
continue.
Now, how to fix this situation. We need YOU to harness that collective
power and get EVERY ham in Michigan to sign the letters, AND we need
your clubs to also do the same by using the preformatted form that we
have and just file in a few simple spaces, scan and send to our website
moderator. It’s really just that simple…
Michiganians, are you truly willing to let my Buckeyes defeat you? I
suspect not. Now is the time to
demonstrate your determination and start writing those letters. The
pivotal moment is here—step up your efforts to help ensure the Amateur
Radio Emergency Preparedness Act (HB 1094 / S 459) passes this year.
Thanks to the government shutdown, we have a few extra weeks to send in
those letters. Don’t wait until it’s too late; take action today!
Hams, just visit https://arrl.org/HOA enter your call sign, and the
form will auto complete in seconds. Just hit the send button and
you’re done!
Clubs should download the letter from https://send-a-letter.org/club
add club information, and have it signed by an officer. Scan each
completed letter (one for your Representative and each Senator) into
separate PDFs and email all files to Director John Robert Stratton
([email protected]), who will review and send them to Capitol Hill.
I am challenging all Michiganians and Michigan clubs to step up and be
an integral part of this crucial legislative push. Show me you can
really beat Ohio.
73,
Scott
