Friends of Shiras Planetarium is inviting our community to take part in the Adopt-A-Shiras-Star program. This is a meaningful way to support our newly renovated planetarium and stand among the stars who have helped make this project possible.

We are thrilled to announce that the Daniel J. Kobasic Foundation has offered to match all donations to the Friends of Shiras Planetarium from December 14 to December 31, dollar for dollar, up to $115,000!

This is our biggest opportunity yet to reach our $1 million fundraising goal before the end of the year. If we meet this match, we can secure an additional $230,000 for the future of the Shiras Planetarium.

Imagine the possibilities:

If 500 people each gave $25, that’s $12,500 — which becomes $25,000 after the match!
