National Alliance on Mental Illness-Alger/Marquette Peer support groups and educational meetings for individuals living with mental illness, and friends or families living with an individual with mental illness.

The mission of NAMI Alger/Marquette is to improve the lives of individuals with serious mental illness and those who love and care for them through education, support, and advocacy.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness Alger/Marquette offers free, confidential peer support groups from 7:00pm to 8:00 pm Eastern Time, in person and on Zoom, for individuals living with mental illness, and friends or families living with an individual with mental illness.

In-person support groups will meet Monday, January 12 and Thursday, January 15 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at Superior Alliance for Independent Living (SAIL), 1025 West Washington, Suite C, Marquette. In case of bad weather, if schools are closed the in-person meeting will be cancelled.

In addition to these in-person meetings, NAMI will hold a Zoom support group Wednesday, January 8. (Zoom dates may be subject to change.) To receive a Zoom invitation: before 6:45pm on the day of the support group, please email [email protected], or call/text 906-360-7107.
