11 days till this fun Meat Raffle in support of the Village of Marquette Historical Society! Come for the fun, stay for the food. Please help the Historical Society maintain/improve the Church Museum, home to the MHS, and bring free events and programs open to the public to the Village of Marquette and beyond.

Please support the Princeton Women's Club in June. Shop at the Piggly Wiggly in Princeton and be sure to ROUND UP to the next dollar when you finish your checkout. If the cashier doesn't ask, please tell them you'd like to round up for the Princeton Women's Club. As always, all money donated to the club goes right back into our local communities. The Village of Marquette Historical Society is gearing up for their annual Silent Auction/Pie & Ice Cream Social. We are seeking donors for the silent auction - our main fundraiser of the year.

The proceeds from the Silent Auction help us to maintain/renovate our beautiful Church Museum, home to our historical society. It also allows us to bring free events to the community, involving the history of the region over time.
Donations can be gift baskets, gift cards, vintage items, paintings, artwork, crafts, services offered, and cash donations...to name a few.

ONE MORE DAY TO ORDER YOUR SPECIAL MEMORIAL/COMMEMORATIVE BRICK to be displayed permanently at the gazebo in our new park. TOMORROW, MAY 8th will be the last opportunity to order. Missed your chance to order a special Commemorative Brick that will be part of the SW entrance to the [Village of Marquette Historical Society's Memorial Meadow Park?

Both the Children's and the Adult's Little Free Libraries have been restocked. Remember, take a book, leave a book. Some books are marked for return to the LFL after you have finished reading it. Thank you for using our Little Free Libraries. My husband suffered two heart attacks this month and I have been super busy running back and forth to the UW Madison Hospital, and now helping him with his recuperation. Thanks for understanding the delay in restocking. Enjoy the "new" books!
