Free Table is in the process of finding a winter location and hopes to be back at building community with you all soon!

In the meantime, here's a good thing that has happened!
Our constitutional right to life means we must have access to healthy, life-sustaining foods. Right now, 1-in-5 Yoopers are food insecure and we're staring down a cold winter of supply chain shortages. Maybe something like legal recognition seems small, but actions like this are meaningful steps towards making sure everyone is fed.

Supporters hope the adoption of the amendment will change the way cities and towns write laws and consider people's right to food.

Free Table is on hiatus while I recover from an emergency surgery. Looking forward to getting back out in the community as soon as possible, but the body has limits. Rest is a radical act. Be kind to yourself. I'll see you all again when I'm ready.
