The Masonic Arts, Theatre, & Innovation Company, or MÄTI for short, is a new non-profit based in the historic Masonic building in downtown Marquette. The organization is focused on providing a home for creatives, makers, and innovators of all types, from which they can practice their craft and share it with the world. With over 65,000 square feet of space in the building, the organization has big

goals including multiple maker spaces with various complementary disciplines, a digital design lab for photo, video, and graphic design, as well as classroom space for in-person (distanced as necessary) or virtual learning. All of this is in addition to its venues that are available for use such as the beautiful Red-Room with the ambiance of a 19th century English theatre, to the Ballroom, perfect for weddings and large gatherings. Culinary artists, small businesses taking their first steps beyond cottage law, and event caterers will find joy and opportunity in their fully-stocked and licensed commercial kitchen.

Celebrate The Art Drop Shop & Studio 1st anniversary by helping to fold origami paper cranes. Color and design your own. When they reach 1,000 cranes their wish comes true! Open house event. Enjoy tea, music, and movies while folding origami. Donations are appreciated but not required. Event is good for all ages! This is a fundraising event to help make sure they can keep our doors open to keep helping Marquette and the greater UP with affordable and accessible art supplies.
