We got sweet update about little Jelly Bean fka Minerva, who went to her new home last Saturday. What a fitting name based on the timing of her adoption and she is a teeny little jelly bean at only 3lbs. The whole family is smitten with her. Congrats Jelly Bean! ❤️

Butterscotch, Caramel Crunch, Peanut Brittle and Almond Joy will be joining the Ghandi’s Refuge family here at Fairytail Farm, April 24 and are scheduled for the spay/neuters Saturday April 25. After which they will be available for adoption!

Butterscotch (white with brown) and Caramel Crunch (white with dark and light brown markings) are a bonded mother/daughter pair and must be adopted together. Butterscotch is about 1.5 years old with a DOB of November 4, 2024. Caramel Crunch will be 1 year old on, ironically enough the day she arrives, April 24🥳

Almond Joy (white with black markings) and Peanut Brittle (white with brown and black markings are Butterscotch’s brothers, so also 1.5 tears old with DOB Nov 4, 2024. They are not bonded and will be up for adoption individually. If you or someone you know may be interested in any of these lovely bunns, please email [email protected].

Friendly reminder from our girl Glinda here: Bunnies are NOT Easter gifts and make poor “starter” pets. They are a 10+ year commitment and require daily exercise and interaction.

Update:

Glinda seems to have a renewed trust in humans since arriving here in September. She is quite the Houdini and food hound, always looking for a cookie.

Her daughter, Sabrina is still wary of people and does not allow handling. I have managed to get her to take a cookie from my hand which is HUGE progress. She has also allowed a few pets before darting off where as she would bolt at the slightest touch from a human hand. Her psychological scars still run deep from the mistreatment she and her mom suffered in their previous home. I am hopeful she will learn to trust again. There is a sweet and loving little girl under all of that fluff. 💯

Congrats to our little Espresso Bean! He went to his new home on Saturday. He seems to be settling in nicely and living the charmed life. He has the cutest roommate too! Mollie is a sweet little Mini Rex that was adopted back in January. The family loves her so much and decided to adopt Espresso to be her husbunn! ❤️
