Ghandi's Refuge was started in memory of my first rescued rabbit Ghandi. It is currently a small rescue taking in domestic pets in need.

Despite our pause on intake until next year, this little guy, Mormont, was just literally dumped on us today. We couldn’t turn him away in this condition and gave him a quick makeover for comfort. Once we are able to get him cleaned up, on a good diet and neutered he will be available for adoption along with Latte, Almond Joy, Rubble and Rizzo who are still in search of furever homes!if you are interested in adopting any of our available bunns, please send an email to [email protected]

Here today, gone…today! Marshmallow and Cirrus came back to us on Wednesday morning and were in their furever home for bed time! They went to a family who has adopted a couple of bunnies this year and are just smitten. Now up to 5 bunns total, the play room has been converted to the “Bunny Room”! Once ya hop ya just can’t stop!

Through no fault of their own, Marshmallow and Cirrus are being returned next week. We are already past capacity and are really hoping to get all 9 rabbits into homes by summer’s end. Almond Joy found it rather rude when the vet was looking in his mouth to assess the degree of his dental issues. Regardless, he was a champ and is being a good patient eagerly slurping up his medications.

We got sweet update about little Jelly Bean fka Minerva, who went to her new home last Saturday. What a fitting name based on the timing of her adoption and she is a teeny little jelly bean at only 3lbs. The whole family is smitten with her. Congrats Jelly Bean! ❤️

Congrats to Parsley and Sage fka Marshmallow and Cirrus who went to their new home in MD today! The family drove over 2 hours to adopt these brothers. Best of luck as kings of the castle!
