Cherokee Foundation-Our Story!

Our children’s educational success here at Cherokee is so important. Founded in 2010 The Foundation’s role is to encourage academic achievement by ensuring our students have the tools they need to meet their goals. The goal of the Foundation is to help offset expenses for various activities for our students. We answer teacher requests for tools and resources that may not be in the operating budget and help with travel expenses that may be charged to parents. Our group evaluates each request and votes to allocate funds, if deemed beneficial for our students. We sponsor several FUND RAISERS throughout the school year to raise the funds to accomplish these goals, and we also allocate funds to provide scholarships.
