We also offer staff development and training to community agencies in order to enhance the ability of the Burlington County community to address the full

range of needs of our diverse population. We utilize state-of-the-art resources tied to research-based, exemplary practices. We are committed to replace the denial and lack of understanding about substance use with accurate information concerning the symptoms, effects and treatment of addiction. Collaborating with human service agencies, school systems, law enforcement, public policy makers, elected officials at all levels, the media and others, Prevention Plus seeks to maximize the resources necessary to bring about individual changes in knowledge, attitude and behavior as well as social and environmental change for our communities. Prevention Plus collaborates with our community partners by providing technical assistance to community agencies or individuals, participating in a wide variety of community task forces and committees, providing media events and contributing to community public awareness events. Prevention Plus advocates for changes in public policy appropriate to the prevention and treatment fields by alerting local officials, state legislators and the media to issues and needs related to substance use. We are committed to facilitating changes in public policy appropriate to the prevention and treatment fields. Prevention Plus also serves as an advocate for individuals by referring those in need to the appropriate community resources for help with substance abuse or related problems. As an advocate we are committed to ridding the disease of addiction of its stigma and its sufferers of their denial and shame.

We're excited to announce that registration is now open for our 5th Annual Golf 4 A Cause Tournament! โ›ณ

What started as an idea to bring our community together in support of prevention and overdose awareness has grown into a meaningful tradition, and we couldn't be more grateful. This year marks our fifth tournament, and we're looking forward to making it our biggest and best event yet.

Join us on Friday, October 16, 2026, at the Rancocas Golf Club for a day of golf, community, friendly competition, and support for a cause that impacts so many lives. Whether you're registering a team, golfing as an individual, becoming a sponsor, or helping spread the word, your support helps us continue our prevention and education efforts throughout Burlington County.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Golf 4 A Cause over the past years. We can't wait to celebrate this milestone with you and continue swinging for change together.

Registration and sponsorship opportunities are available now. We hope to see you on the course!

๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ’š We are SO close to reaching our goal for the 4th Annual Lace Up Against Stigma 5K & 1 Mile Walk!

Because of the incredible support from our community, we have officially raised about $9,000 โ€” and we are only $1,000 away from our $10,000 goal! ๐ŸŽ‰

There is still time to help us cross the finish line by:
๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Registering to run or walk
๐Ÿ’š Making a donation of any size

Every dollar raised helps support stigma-free conversations around mental health, substance use prevention, wellness, and recovery in our community.

Join us this weekend as we come together to show that no one has to struggle alone. Letโ€™s make this our biggest and most impactful year yet! ๐Ÿ’š
