Supporters have organized a community event to help our Marlton-based special interest travel troop, The Abeona Explorers, provide access to educational travel for Girl Scouts locally and throughout our region. Please make a purchase at Chick Fil-A in Marlton on Wednesday and be sure to include the code TRAVEL (all caps) to ensure a portion of the profit is donated in support of our special interest group.

Travel programming includes a variety of experiences, from local field trips through international tours. This group focuses on cultural awareness, community service and global citizenship as well. Girls learn valuable life skills, create strong friendships and build confidence through experiential education.

Come tour the Dominican Republic with Girl Scouts in summer 2027! Open to Girl Scouts currently in grades 5-9 with or without a parent/guardian. This is a great way for girls to build life skills, friendships and confidence through experiential learning.

Soak up rich history and tropical sunshine as you journey through rainforests, cities, and beaches. From whitewater rafting in Jarabacoa to crafting pottery in Santiago and a surfing lesson in Cabarete, girls will gain new perspectives and a profound appreciation for Dominican culture on this coast-to-coast adventure.

Learn more during a virtual information session with your volunteer tour group leader (and Marlton Girl Scouts troop leader/service unit manager) and a consultant with EF Tours for Girls, our travel partner, on Thursday, September 14 at 8 PM.

RSVP via the link below to attend the info session and/or to register interest and receive detailed information. Enroll in the tour by September 30 to receive $250 off the current price.

All girls are welcome to join our campfire. 🔥

"We all have a place at the campfire. It was Girl Scouts who first taught me that."

As a Girl Scout alum and First-Class Award recipient (now the Girl Scout Gold Award), Gloria Steinem carried that lesson with her throughout her life. She dedicated her career to championing equality and amplifying the voices of women and girls.

Today, we honor Gloria’s extraordinary life, lasting impact, and legacy of making sure everyone has a place at the campfire.

RIP Dolly. 😔

Remembering a true original and one of our Girl Scout sisters. 💚

A Lifetime Girl Scout, Dolly believed in the power of confidence, kindness and possibility. She opened doors for others through her generosity, created joy for generations and showed that leadership can look like boldly being yourself while using what you have to make a difference.

Her music made her an icon. The way she lived made her a role model.

Thank you, Dolly, for reminding generations of girls that so much is already within them, and that with the courage to try, they can do a whole lot. 💚
