We will be performing music from OSSAA contest and a few you know and love! The students will also be recognized for all their achievements this year!

Marlow High School vocal competed in the OSSAA Large Group Contest! This is the first time both high school groups made it to state contest!

The Outlaw Chorale received Excellent-II Ratings!

The Freshmen Chorus received all Superior-I ratings! The Freshmen received the Outstanding Achievement Award!

We are so proud of these Outlaw Singers! They represent Marlow well!!! 💙🎶

Congratulations to Marlow Middle School vocal on their Excellent Rating on Stage and Superior in Sight Reading! Many of these students attended contest for the first time! So proud of these kids for being brave and performing for judges! 💙🎶

Marlow Vocal is 🎶STATE BOUND! 🎶💙Today The Outlaw Chorale and the Freshman Ensemble attended OSSAA District Large Group Contest at Mustang HS.

Freshman received all 1s on stage and in sight reading.
The Chorale received 1, 1, 2 and a 2 in sight reading!

So proud of these kids and their hard work! See you at state in April

Oklahoma Choral Directors Association did a spotlight on our director Sarah Pitts along with Marlow Vocal Music! It is incredible to be recognized by other music directors over the state of Oklahoma! This just shows the amazing things that go on at Marlow Vocal. Mrs. Pitts is so honored to be recognized along with this program! 💙

OkCDA Southwest Region Rep Brittni Bilyeu has chosen Sarah Pitts, Director at Marlow Public Schools as her region spotlight! Brittni shares: "In my past four years in "secondary-land", I have seen Sarah work continually to better herself as an educator, invest in the teachers around her, and advocate for her students/program. Sarah is a testament that good things take time and that there is power is perseverance."

When asked what makes her proud of her program and students, Sarah shared:
"We have been through a lot in Marlow over the last 8 years that I have been the director. Through these transitions of the pandemic, new band and elementary music teachers, the tearing down of the old auditorium, the rebuilding of our new PAC my students have persevered and continued to do wonderful things. Despite having some setbacks, we have many SWOK All-Region members, OkCDA and OkMEA All-Staters, received Superiors at the district and the state level, had students make and attend SWACA Honor Choirs and OAKE Honor Choirs. It can be tough for students to wait, and some never got the new building or all the awards. But my students have pushed through and proven that even in the most ideal situations you can still be successful and make beautiful music! I could not be more proud of them! We are so happy to have been rewarded in our efforts with our beautiful new PAC! These students have the pride of knowing they are the reason we have our beautiful new space and a program that keeps growing!"

So thankful for the work of Sarah Pitts and the students in the Marlow Choirs! ⭐

Congratulations to MacKenzi Kingcade and Kayla Hekia for making and attending the 2026 OkCDA JH Mixed Chorus! 🎶💙

These students auditioned with over 2,000 students and were two of just 200 students across the state of Oklahoma to be selected!

MacKenzi Kingcade had the honor of auditioning and making this choir all three years eligible! She was recognized and received her medal at the concert of January 10th!

So much hard work goes into making this choir! They has been working since before school even started this year! We are so proud to have these students representing Marlow at the state level! 💙🎶

On Tuesday Marlow Vocal Music presented their annual Christmas Concert! These students did wonderful and sang beautifully! We are so proud of there incredible performances! 💙 🎶
