Today, Post 1192 came together to help clean up an overgrown yard for the mother of a veteran who is no longer with us.
It was a simple act, but it meant something. When someone has served, the bond doesn’t just disappear when they’re gone, and neither does our responsibility to the family they leave behind.
We remember our brothers and sisters in arms, we honor their service, and we do our best to look after the people they loved.

Cherry-Armstrong VFW Post 1192 was honored to witness the smiles, excitement, and emotions created as veterans took to the skies in these historic flights. The opportunity to relive memories, share stories, and experience the freedom of flight is something that will not soon be forgotten.
