PCFM Our goal is to increase access to fresh, locally produced, nourishing and safe foods for all people -- from children to seniors.

Pocahontas County Farmers Market◘Marlinton: Saturdays @ 216 8th Street◘Green Bank: Wednesdays @ Bartow Green Bank Fire Station◘First Fridays: First Friday of each month May-Sept @ Discovery Junction◘Vendors wanted! We encourage, support and promote the entrepreneurial efforts of local, independent and small-scale farmers, local growers and local artisans who seek to sell their products/produce directly to local consumers and restaurants. We create an opportunity for people to meet, eat, share stories, recipes and knowledge in a safe place dedicated to the cultivation of local products and talents. Finally we create an atmosphere that serves not only the market but also contributes to a prosperous rural area and promotes a sense of community.

Green Bank folks, come on out to the last market of the season today from 2:30-5:30. Our vendors will have a beautiful selection of produce, baked goods and eggs and all crossing their fingers for a sell-out day! 🍎🥧🍅❤️🍉

Including: Peppers, tomatoes, watermelon, pumpkins, eggplant, kale and greens, herbs, organic sourdough, pumpkin bread, mini apple pies, white bread, cinnamon donut bread, chocolate chip cookies and more. Hope to see you there!

Calling all Farmers and Crafters: ‼️‼️
Tim Wade is looking for someone to do an apple butter demonstration on October 3rd for Huntersville Tradition Days.
A $400 stipend is offered. If you have apple butter made ahead of time, you'd be welcome to sell it there.

Is it September already? Lucky for you that means our market is fully stocked with fresh veggies including all the good stuff ‼️
Tomatoes, mixed greens, peppers, herbs, okra, zucchini, cucumbers, eggplant, and more. Come get your eggs, bread (including sourdough), and sweets for the week! Pick up a sweet bouquet for your honey, we have something for everyone today from 2:30-5:30 at the BFD in Green Bank.

Tanya's Goods is here with chocolate chip and lemon poppy seed muffins!

High Rocks Ruby Grow has Blueberry Jam, lots of types of peppers, green beans, corn 🌽, tomatoes 🍅, kale, cucumbers 🥒, and chard.

Doolittle Farm has squash, zucchini, tomatillos, lots of peppers sweet and hot, tomatoes 🍅, eggplant 🍆, dehydrated mushrooms, stone ground blue corn meal, and purple ufo hot sauce!

Maxine Shearer is here with peppermint tea, banana bread, fudge, pickles, jelly, apple pie and cookies 🍪
