The century-old Pocahontas County Opera House is the performing arts center of Marlinton.

Join us Sunday, October 25, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Pocahontas County Opera House for Bluegrass Sunday, a special fundraiser supporting Allegheny Mountain Radio! Enjoy live music from Mudhole Control, Viney Mountain Boys, and Richard Hefner & Friends. Admission is by free-will donation, so come enjoy some great music and support your local community radio station!

There are so many beautiful events that happen in the Opera House!
The Pocahontas County FRN hosts an annual Empty Bowl fundraiser. Last night there were around 30 crockpots full of wonderful homemade soup and a beautiful selection of bowls made by local potters.
Richard Hefner set the tone for a beautiful night of community.

Coming up this Saturday: West Virginia pianist Kelton Boblits brings ragtime, stride, blues and boogie-woogie to the Pocahontas County Opera House. Kelton won the Junior Division of the World Championship Old-Time Piano Playing Contest in 2018 and 2019.

Pressing Strings comes to the Pocahontas County Opera House on Saturday, Oct. 24. The Annapolis trio blends roots, rock, blues and folk, with all three musicians singing.
