We would like to clarify some misinformation regarding the FARMacy Program.

The FARMacy Program is a referral-based program operated in partnership with Community Care of West Virginia. Participants cannot simply attend a class or show up on the day of the program. Individuals must first be referred by their healthcare provider and enrolled prior to the program start date.

Because the program has limited enrollment and requires coordination between healthcare providers, participants, and program staff, registration deadlines are necessary to ensure the program runs effectively and smoothly for everyone involved. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes.

We understand that it can be frustrating to learn about a program after enrollment has closed. However, eligibility and enrollment requirements are applied consistently to all participants and are not based on personal relationships or favoritism.

Anyone interested in future FARMacy opportunities is encouraged to speak with their healthcare provider at Community Care or contact our office directly for information about upcoming enrollment periods.

Our goal has always been to serve the community fairly, respectfully, and in accordance with program guidelines.
