A number of us went to the Lions Club Forum in Kalamazoo over the weekend. There were lots of seminars on different aspects of serving as a Lion. One exciting talk was from our keynote speaker. She has written a children’s book that gives the hearing impaired child a special book that they can read. The children in the book do sign language. It is called an ASL Picture book and the author’s name is Kathleen Marcath. We have posted an article about her time with is at the Forum.

From Leader Dogs to hearing dog programs, from vision restoration to scholarship funding — Lions build systems that change lives.
