We facilitate intergenerational individual, group, and peer LGBTQ+ mentoring relationships that make a mutually affirming, positive impact.

We strive to create transformative mentorship opportunities where LGBTQ+ young people are invited to explore their passions, agency, and personhood alongside an intergenerational community. LGBTQ+ young people are disproportionately exposed to violence and marginalization based on homophobia, transphobia, q***r criminalization, racism, ableism, capitalism, adultism, the patriarchy, and other systems of oppression. Many do not have any LGBTQ+ adults in their lives who are invested in their joy and growth. We are here to change that. Our Work ~
We facilitate intergenerational mentoring relationships for LGBTQ+ young people that address the harm in their lives and celebrate them for who they are. Our programs are all-encompassing, reimagining mentorship to be individual, group, and peer. As a remote-first organization, we further reimagine mentoring by creating far-reaching access for LGBTQ+ young people across the country. Our values ~

This Transgender History Month, we celebrate the lives, achievements, and contributions of generations of transgender people throughout history. We honor the trailblazers who paved the way, those continuing to make change today, and the youth shaping the future.

At Linked Mentoring, we celebrate the role that mentorship and connection have played throughout 2SLGBTQIA+ history. We are proud to support youth as they connect with their identities and contribute to the ongoing history of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

This month and every month, we celebrate trans resilience, trans joy, and the incredible contributions of trans trailblazers who have worked to make the world a more equal place. 🏳️‍⚧️

🌈 2SLGBTQIA+ history is filled with people who have made space for others in their community and challenged expectations. This history continues today with people who mentor and continue to make space for others.

From activists to community organizers, 2SLGBTQIA+ historical figures are an example of what’s possible and how far the community has come, while also highlighting the change that still needs to be made.

At Linked Mentoring during Pride Month and year round, we are dedicated to creating safe, supportive environments for 2SLGBTQIA+ through the power of mentorship.

Interested in creating positive change and community through the power of mentoring? We want to hear from you! You will be paired with a 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, and together you will navigate life. Here are the requirements:

Commitment: Approximately an hour per week, virtually.
Availability: Internet access to connect with your mentee.
Eligibility: Living in the US, 2SLGBTQIA+, 21+.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that the mental wellbeing of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth is shaped by their environments, including experiencing discrimination and lacking support. These challenges can negatively impact mental health, but support can make a life-saving difference.

2SLGBTQIA+ youth who have mentors not only give back to their communities and have better relationships, but also experience better mental health.

This Mental Health Awareness Month and all year round, Linked Mentoring is proud to support 2SLGBTQIA+ youth through mentoring and opportunities to find community.

Are you looking for a 2SLGBTQIA+ community? Do you think you would benefit from connecting with a mentor who has similar or shared lived experiences?

Linked Mentoring can pair you with an older, trained 2SLGBTQIA+ mentor to learn from, chat with, and connect with! Because all programming is virtual, all you need is to be between the ages of 7 and 24, 2SLGBTQIA+, live in the US, and have access to the internet.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!

Linked Mentoring is looking for a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator to support our work through graphic design, social media posting and moderation. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate team player who has 2-3 hours per week available to support the mission and vision of our small, grass roots non-profit.

Past work in social media and graphic design a plus, but are not a requirement. Interested parties should reside within the US, have reliable internet connection and passion for supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
