Though many of our weekend events were cancelled, the rain broke just in time yesterday to lead our hometown Memorial Day parade. We were honored to participate in the ceremony as learning the meaning of the holiday while solemnly revering the associated traditions is an important part of our organization.

A few weeks ago, we provided an educational performance to a gymnasium full of engaged elementary school students as part of Marlborough’s America 250 celebratory offerings. We love performing in our hometown and will do it again this weekend as we honor fallen and missing service men/women for Memorial Day. The parade on Monday kicks off around 1:30 and ends with a ceremony on the town green. We will also participate in the Glastonbury parade and on Sunday in Colchester.

Exactly 6 months from today, The Marlborough Jr Ancients’ Muster by the Lake will commence. September 19th, Blish Park in Marlborough CT. For the early birds, Registration is open!.

The Marlborough Jr. Ancients are pleased to share that they will be hosting their 47th annual muster at Blish Park on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Join us as we make the historical sounds of fifes and drum echo across Lake Terramuggus.

Many thanks to those that stopped by the town green last Sunday to help us stock the shelves of the Food Bank of Marlborough, Connecticut for Easter. Because of you we were able to donate 160 lbs of food and $452! Your support was appreciated!

A wonderful time at the Old Saybrook Torchlight Christmas parade last night! We love marching with the Colchester Continentals for this event and then Jamming with other Jr Corps at the The Company of Fifers & Drummers after.
