We the People of Avoyelles Avoyelles Parish Home Rule Charter Information The Louisiana constitution allows us to do this by adopting a Home Rule Charter.

The objective of this page is to present information on the benefits of changing our local form of government from the police jury system to a Home Rule Charter. This will allow our local elected officials to be more productive and more efficient, thus providing the services we want and deserve at a cost we can afford.
