Dear Family, Friends and Supporters of Compassion Ministries International,

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our irreplaceable Mother Helen Berry. We solicit your prayers for the family and our entire CMI family as we grieve this loss. Even in sorrow, we can take solace in knowing that Mother Berry, an unwavering servant of Christ who clung to the hope of her salvation each day of her life, now rests in the loving embrace of Jesus, where there is no more pain or suffering. The impact of CMI’s head Mother’s dedicated leadership and tireless generosity on countless men, women, children, families, and on all those many in need on whose lives she has left an indelible mark, will remain for generations to come. May her life and legacy continue to inspire us to walk in sincere, actionable faith and love, in willing obedience to the call of the Lord, as was Mother Berry’s example. During this time of sorrow, may we find comfort in the promise of peace that passes all understanding, knowing joy comes in the morning. We continue to cling to the hope of the resurrection, for in Christ, death is not the end, but the beginning of eternal life.

God keeps His promises! He said ask and He hears. He answers. Tonight another person received the promise of His Holy Spirit living inside.
