In recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, the Xi Mu Zeta Elder Care Committee invites the community to join us for an important conversation about protecting, supporting, and advocating for older adults.

Every senior deserves to age with dignity, respect, and security. By increasing awareness and educating ourselves about the signs of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation, we can all play a role in creating safer, stronger communities for our elders.

Join us as we learn, share resources, and reaffirm our commitment to honoring and protecting those who have contributed so much to our families and communities.

Together, we can help ensure that every elder is seen, valued, and protected.

See flyer for event details.

Today, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated stands with the warriors, families and caregivers impacted by sickle cell disease❤️

On World Sickle Cell Awareness Day, we raise awareness, advocate for equitable care and honor the strength of those living with this inherited blood disorder.

Hope is growing as new advancements in gene therapy are creating potentially curative treatment options for eligible patients, bringing us closer to a future without sickle cell disease.

Know your status. Support research. Stand with sickle cell warriors.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated honors Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, as an historic moment in American history. On June 19, 1865, news of the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached the last enslaved individuals in Galveston, Texas, marking the true beginning of freedom for all.

We proudly recognize the efforts of our own trailblazing Soror, Opal Lee, the “Grandmother of Juneteenth,” whose unwavering advocacy helped make Juneteenth a federally recognized holiday in 2021.

Today, we celebrate emancipation, reflect on our ancestors’ strength and resilience, and recommit to the work of advancing justice, equity, and unity. Through education, action, and solidarity, we move closer to a world rooted in true freedom for all.

That's a Wrap on March for Babies 2026!!!
Last weekend, members of Xi Mu Zeta proudly joined families, advocates, and community partners for the March of Dimes March for Babies.

Each step taken represents hope, support, and a commitment to improving the health of moms and babies. As a chapter, we are honored to support the Chicago mission and stand alongside families whose journeys remind us why this work matters.

Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, volunteered, and helped raise awareness. Together, we continue to make a difference for mothers, babies, and families in our communities.

Please enjoy a few highlights from this meaningful day. 🩵👣✨
