Young Outlaws Power Wheels Drag Racing, a youth racing program designed for children ages 3–10 will be at the 2026 Marissa Coal Festival on Saturday, August 8th starting at 11am. This event provides children with a safe, fun, and exciting Power Wheels racing experience while promoting sportsmanship, confidence, and family involvement through organized racing events.
Event Overview:
● Racers compete in battery-operated Power Wheels vehicles
● Two racers line up side-by-side and race a 60-foot track
● A drag racing tree is used for authentic race starts
● Three racing classes: Stock, Modified, and Outlaws
● All participants and guardians are required to sign a waiver of liability
● Racer entry fee: $20 per participant
Awards:
● First Place: Trophy and cash payouts
● Second Place: Trophy Young Outlaws
