MCHS Academic Boosters Club, Inc. Together, we can help Mariposa County High School be the best it can be! Incorporated as a nonprofit

Our mission is to supplement and enrich academic experiences and provide educational tools for Mariposa County High School students. Before incorporation, ABC helped purchase Calculus and Pre-Calculus textbooks to replace far outdated textbooks in the MCHS Math Department. ABC also helped purchase a new sound system for the MCHS Fiester Auditorium which is a cultural center for the entire Mariposa

community. Among other events, ABC holds monthly Career Lunches, bringing in speakers from a wide variety of fields to talk with students about the paths they took to their careers and what their jobs are like. We also fund a wide variety of teacher requests for classroom materials, field trips, or whatever their needs might be. For more information about our programs, visit our website www.mchsabc.org.

In the Mariposa Gazette, "Boosters honor 19 Valedictorians at dinner"

The Valedictorians have taken the most rigorous classes offered at MCHS as determined by the classes available upon entry as a Freshman. Their course load included four years of math, four years of science with three being lab sciences, three years of the same foreign language, four years of English including CCAP college dual credit coursework, and all Honors and AP classes available to them. They have earned a B or higher in all classes and maintained a weighted GPA of 4.0 or higher.

MCHS held its Senior Awards Night 2026 on June 3, 2026. ABC sponsored the academic letters and the bars given out during the Awards night. Starting sophomore year, academic letters (for putting on sweaters or jackets) are available to students who maintain a 3.5 or greater grade point average throughout the year. In subsequent years, students who earned letters are then eligible to earn bars to add to the letters. Congratulations!

BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the 19 Valedictorians for the MCHS Class of 2026! Last night MCHS ABC hosted the MCHS 2026 Valedictorian Dinner at Frederick's of Savourys. Valedictorians invited two guests and their mentor to join them and celebrate. The master of ceremonies was Laura Lynn Hays, the guest speaker - 2011 MCHS graduate Alina Wichmann, and the valedictorians and their mentors each gave speeches. Mariposa County High School

Spanish III students recently traveled to San Francisco to practice their Spanish while cooking Colombian cuisine at restaurant "Pacifico" in SF's Jazz District - the best Colombian restaurant in San Francisco according to The San Francisco Standard. Mariposa County High School Academic Boosters Club (MCHS ABC) Pizza Night Fundraiser this Friday May 15th at Mariposa 's Pizza Factory, 4-9 pm. Bring friends and family for dinner!

A portion of the sales will go to MCHS ABC to help fund projects that enhance educational experiences for students at MCHS!
