🌾 What Happens When You Come to Manna House for Food Assistance?
When you walk through the doors of Manna House in Mariposa, you are greeted by caring volunteers who see you as a neighbor.
We know that asking for help can be hard. That’s why we do everything we can to make it simple, welcoming, and judgment-free. Our volunteers, all members of this community, will help you register, walk you through the process, and make sure your family gets the food you need to get through the month.
Each family leaves with a thoughtfully prepared supply of groceries that often includes:
🥣 Cereal, rice, and pasta
🥫 Canned fruits, vegetables, beans, and soups
🍞 Bread and pantry staples
🥩 Fresh meat, dairy, and produce when available
🐶 Pet food, because our furry family members need love too
If you need food assistance, you are welcome here. Whether you’ve fallen on hard times, lost a job, or are simply trying to make ends meet, Manna House is here for you, no government red tape, no judgment, and no cost.
We serve roughly 150 families each month, made possible entirely through the compassion and generosity of our Mariposa community.
