•Social Events - members enjoy monthly Dinner Socials at the Clubhouse, Summertime Bar-B-Qs, and Holiday Celebrations as a time to get together for Good food, Good friends, and Good fun.
•Education and Conservation - our members support our country's history and heritage through hands on educational programs. We support wildlife con
servation programs and assist in wildlife management programs.
•Youth Activities Programs - members work with our children and the youth of Mariposa County to instill the history and heritage of sportsmanship, marksmanship, and safety in the sports of hunting and fishing.
•Community Events - MCF&GPA sponsors community events throughout the year including Fishing Exhibitions, Annual Flea Market and Rummage Sale, & Hunter Safety Programs
Responsibilities:
•Get Involved - attend our monthly meetings. Help make this club even better than it is. Our club is supported and maintained by you, our members.
•Share Your Expertise - each member is responsible to follow and uphold all that is contained within the club handbook and to support all club endeavors to the best of their ability and expertise.
•Be Law Abiding - encourage the practice of good sportsmanship and compliance with local, state and federal game laws.
•Become a Promoter - talk to members/guests about club activities and supporting the fishing, hunting, and shooting sports.
•Be Courteous - we are a Club – we share and collectively own Mariposa Fish & Game Protective Association. At all times we need to consider the other person’s rights and needs, as they should also respect ours.
•Enforce Safety Rules/Policies - it is each member’s responsibility to ensure everyone is safe and obeying our Safety Rules/Policies. Help provide a positive experience in all of our activities.
•Conserve - support wildlife conservation programs and to assist wildlife management programs.
•Educate - support the Hunter Education programs, promote hunter safety and increase the knowledge and practice of hunting and fishing skills, marksmanship and other recreational activities that is in harmony with the sports of hunting and fishing.
•Vote - An individual membership entitles the member to cast one (1) vote in all matters of the Association requiring a vote of the membership. Your input is important and valuable to the growth of our club.
