🤠Intern Spotlight: Learning Through Experience
The Mariposa Family Resource Center is proud to recognize Lola and Dez, participants in our Internship Program, for their hard work, growth, and dedication.
Through this program, interns gain valuable real-world experience while developing important life and employment skills such as communication, responsibility, teamwork, problem-solving, and self-confidence. We believe that some of the best learning happens through hands-on experiences and meaningful community connections.
A special thank you to Shawna Dahl for partnering with us to provide opportunities that help our interns learn and grow in a unique and supportive environment. Working with horses teaches patience, consistency, leadership, and confidence—skills that extend far beyond the arena.
Did you know that Shawna is also a vendor with Central Valley Regional Center? Eligible CVRC clients may be able to have equine lessons and services funded through their Individual Program Plan (IPP), making these valuable experiences more accessible to individuals and families throughout our community.
We are grateful for partnerships that help create pathways for success and provide opportunities for youth and young adults to discover their strengths, build skills, and work toward their goals.
Please join us in celebrating Lola and Dez and the incredible progress they are making!
💕This event is Hosted by Shawna Dahl and not the MFRC flier credited to her program as well.
