Flourish Mentoring Program, Inc Flourish seeks to expedite the growth and success of black girls, more specifically African American girls, ages 13-17.

Studies have shown that black women are the most educated group by both race and gender. They are making strides in education, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and business. However, black women are also the most mistreated, overlooked and underrepresented group in most workplaces. Black women are continually faced with adversities and are additionally subjected to discrimin

ation in all facets of life. Yet, their resilience yields prosperity repeatedly. Young black girls are like roses, who need care and attention. Roses must be fertilized, watered and continually maintained. Likewise, these girls need to nurtured and refined to recognize and utilize their talents.
