Let My Light Shine was founded in 2009 with one simple goal; honoring those who gave their lives to defend the freedoms of United States citizens. Our organization honors Veterans by placing a light next to the grave markers of the military personnel at the Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana. Let My Light Shine is the only organization in the nation to receive approval from the National C

emetery Board. In 2013, Let My Light Shine placed over 1,750 lights for two weeks in November including Veterans Day. In 2014, we're actively seeking donations to expand the number of lights - with over 10,500 military personnel buried at Marion National Cemetery, we have plenty of work still to do!
