This past weekend, Marion Athletics hosted the Old Time Softball Game as a part of Marion Days, a celebration of small town life!

Want to celebrate Marion and it's history? This weekend is Marion Days, and there are lots of opportunities to join in on the fun, like vintage festival games and an outdoor movie on Friday evening; a soap box derby, history panel, old time softball game, and festival themed meal on Saturday; and a community outdoor service at the Marion First United Methodist Church on Sunday morning!

Eight of our 12U boys (4 from each team) represented Marion in the All-Stars games this weekend in State Line. Great job to each player - Jase, Breckin, Lincoln, Frankie, Dillan, Eli, Camden, and Isaiah.

And a special congrats to Dillan and Eli for taking second place, and to Camden and Isaiah on their first place win!

Marion had the pleasure of hosting the 10U AllStar games today. We cheered, we sweated 🥵, and we drank a lot of water! 🙃

A big Congratulations to the Champions, including our very own TJ and Liam from 10U Blue! Along with their team, they won by 1 run in the second extra inning. What a game! 🥇

Job well done to Matthew, Harrison, and Devin from Marion Orange who fought hard, but their team took second place. 🥈

And congrats to Grady, who won the Home Run Derby!! We hope he enjoys that gift certificate to our local Leota's Ice Cream! 🍦

Marion Athletic Association would like to express deep condolences to those who are experiencing the deep loss of Pam and Andre - to the family and friends within our association, to those at Shalom, and to all in the surrounding community. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you walk this unimaginable road.
