Homeless to Home Animal Rescue & Cat Sanctuary Homeless to Home is a cat sanctuary & animal rescue preventing suffering of animals. ALL LIVES MATTER, including the animals. All owners & staff are volunteers.

We are located in Marion, Ohio, with volunteers throughout the central Ohio area. Our mission here at Homeless to Home is to help end suffering for ALL creatures. We know that is impossible, but we strive to help as many as we can in an effort to ensure that no animal is ever turned away. Our hope is that one day each creature we rescue will have food, water, shelter, love, kind words, and will fi

nd a forever home where they can finally sleep with BOTH eyes shut, not having to worry if harm will come to them. THIS RESCUE SURVIVES ON DONATIONS ALONE, and be assured that 100% of your donation, large or small, will go towards the care of the animals. It costs a lot to keep the doors open, the ongoing expenses being food, litter, utilities, the rescue vehicle (which is very old & in need of replacing) upkeep including insurance, gas & maintenance, and most of all, the vet & medical expenses. The rescue is always in need of necessary items as well as financial donations. If you are not able to give a one time gift, or small continual monthly gifts, we understand. However, can you please share us on your FB and all social media pages in hopes that someone else who cares about the animals might also be able to? Every penny is needed & appreciated. We’re collecting clean, sellable items for our upcoming yard sale to help raise $6,000 for flea, tick, and earmite prevention for the cats in our care.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO WORK THIS EVENT JUNE 20&21 - Homeless to Home will be paid $17 an hour per volunteer hour. We need 3 people to wash and core strawberries and 4 people to park cars. This is the schedule:
8:45am - 4 or 5 Saturday
9am - 4 or 5 Sunday
Shifts cannot be split, the full day must be worked. Calling on followers, friends and anyone from Greene County and anywhere else who wants to help animals and support HTH. We are working the festival in Union County this weekend, need to fill Greene County. We can really use the funds this doubleheader would bring. Willing? A simple bowl of clean water can make the difference between life and death for cats trying to survive outdoors. Dehydration can quickly lead to heat exhaustion, heat stroke, kidney issues, etc. Providing fresh cool clean water is one of the kindest things you can do for them. It never ceases to amaze me how many people feed cats, but do not provide water. It is a simple, free, and fundamental necessity for their survival. Please be a hero and put out some fresh clean water!! 💦💦💦

Edited to add: Never use metal dishes in the sun or extreme heat or cold. This dish is in a spot that is 100% shaded all day long and is refreshed with cold water multiple times per day.

‼️ Folks, it's crunch time again. We find ourselves slipping behind in funds for some areas and we need some help. We are helping more cats than ever before. The numbers of people struggling to keep pets or care for strays is increasing, while each year more shelters everywhere decide to accept fewer cats or not take them at all. This causes thousands of cats to breed hundreds of thousands of cats, most of which suffer and end in bad ways without help. We are responding to more emergency situations than ever before. The numbers we help are increasing while donations stay about the same. Our greatest needs are in the areas of vet costs, with many cats in need of dental surgeries; cat food we purchase from Best Breed Pet Foods in Findlay, Ohio; and our next microchip order of $1000. We also urgently need to order our season's supply of flea and tick preventative to the tune of $6000.

This is all just to get us on track. We are willing to do the work but we need your ongoing support to accomplish it. Below are ways to help. No one rocks spay-neuter surgeries like 4 Leaf Rover! It's very sad that Richland County residents didn't fill all 150 surgery spots in light of the massive need. On the bright side, we were offered surgeries spots, and we jumped on it! At the rate we're accepting cats turned away by shelters everywhere, these surgeries mean adoptions. Thank you 4 Leaf Rover and Animal Medical Center of Ontario!
