Marion Makes Music We aim to provide free music education services to children in Marion County, Ohio. The Drum & Bugle Corps has been in existence since 1968.

We provide free instrument lessons and tutoring through our network of trusted local musicians who love to teach. Formerly the US Open Junior Drum and Bugle Corps Championship Commission, we have updated our name, image, and purpose to better reflect modern needs. However in 2017, drum and bugle corps are a thing of the past. So much like the March of Dimes had to change their focus once polio was

eradicated, we have done the same. Now we aim to provide free music education services to children in Marion County, Ohio. We also use our low-power radio station (WDIF-LP 97.5 FM) to spread our message and to promote and preserve the American cultural heritage that is blues music. Many musicians have "cut their teeth" on the blues, so we are using that format to celebrate these American traditions. WDIF-LP 97.5 FM is currently the only 24/7 blues music radio station in the entire Midwest.

📣 Hey, Prexies! This year, the MCS Summer Foods Program begins on June 6 and runs through August 1. 🌞 🍔 FREE five-day bags will be available for pick-up each Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

❗NOTE:❗Pick-up will be unavailable the week of July 4.

🚘 Locations will be Grant Middle School, and George Washington, Taft, Hayes, and McKinley Elementaries.
