Listen Marion Area Rescue peeps - I'm not going to tag people, but y'all know who you are. And I'm keeping this public for anyone who wants to screenshot to those I've blocked or who have me blocked.
All the DRAMA and trash talking is USELESS and does NOTHING to HELP ANIMALS. You ALL know there are a limited number of people who actually GIVE a crap in this town - and the more we work together, the more we communicate, the more we ALL pool our resources - the BETTER off we will be.
Guess what - WE DON'T HAVE TO LIKE EACH OTHER - At the end, beginning and middle of the day - IT'S ABOUT THE DOG. Infighting, bs, calling people names and assuming you know every backstory does NOTHING to help THAT dog in THAT moment. We don't all operate the same way, we don't all have the same personal values - but the more we snipe and snark at each other and divide down the limited group we have - the LESS chance each animal has to either get safe.
We ALL have our strong points and our weaknesses, I will never be the first person to throw a stone. I have been wronged, and I have probably wronged others. I have only blocked those that I KNOW for a FACT with my own eyes and experience have let down dogs and left them in danger. THOSE are the people I will NOT work with.
If you have talked s**t about me, that's fine. If you don't like me, that's fine. I probably don't like you either. But if it's midnight on Christmas Eve and you need someone to pick up a dog - you can call me. That's how this works - IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU OR ME!! IT'S ABOUT THE DOGS!!
Please, please y'all - put down your grudges and your egos and LOOK at each other, remember why you got into this "cult" and who is really getting hurt by your actions/reactions.
Let's grow up and get back to saving animals. Together.
