On this day in 1834, God brought into the world Charles Haddon Spurgeon, a pastor whose life and ministry would be used to proclaim Christ to countless people. While we do not celebrate men, we rejoice in the God who raises up faithful servants to preach His Word and exalt His Son.

Paul wanted Timothy to accompany him, and he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, for they all knew that his father was a Greek. As they went on their way through the cities, they delivered to them for observance the decisions that had been reached by the apostles and elders who were in Jerusalem. So the churches were strengthened in the faith, and they increased in numbers daily.

Paul came also to Derbe and to Lystra. A disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a Jewish woman who was a believer, but his father was a Greek. He was well spoken of by the brothers at Lystra and Iconium. Paul wanted Timothy to accompany him, and he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, for they all knew that his father was a Greek.

We are grateful to announce that Trinity Baptist Church is NOW listed on the church finders website with The Master's Seminary, along with Founders Ministries and 9Marks.

These church finders exist to help believers locate churches committed to biblical faithfulness. While each ministry has its own distinct emphasis, they share a common commitment to the authority of Scripture, faithful exposition of God's Word, sound doctrine, and healthy local church ministry. And the affiliation with The Master's Seminary finally came after one of our elders recently completed his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching from TMS.

Trinity Baptist Church is a 1689 Confessional Reformed Baptist church committed to:
