Brethren, Monday, Dec. 3 will be our Stated Communication. I will also be our annual Past Master’s night. Special invitation has been extended to our Worshipful Brothers. Meal will be at 5pm, furnished by the OES, fellowship and program will follow. Lodge will open at 7pm with priority business only. Please make a special effort to attend. 2019 dues are now payable. Mystic Tie Masonic Lodge, located at 169 South Main St, will be hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive, beginning at 2pm today until 6pm. Look for the ARC Bloodmobile in our parking area. Please donate during this critical holiday period. Mt Mitchell Shrine Club will have pecans for sale. Learn more about Masonry, the Shrine or any of our affiliate organizations like the Order of the Eastern Star and Amaranth. See ya this afternoon.

Brethren, it is with a saddened heart I report to you the death of Brother Tom Wilson Gowan. Brother Gowan was 90 and enjoyed 57 years of Masonry at Mystic Tie. He entered that unseen Temple 1-22-18 and his Funeral Service will be Thursday 1/25/18, Westmoreland Funeral Chapel, beginning at 1pm with visitation and service at 2. Graveside rites will be bestowed by Mystic Tie at Oak Grove Cemetery (new section). Your attendance and participation is requested.

Mystic Tie will open an emergent communication Saturday, December 16 with breakfast at 8am and the Third Degree at 9am. Our Fellow Craft is Chad Bailey and he is eager to be raised to the Sublime Degree on Master Mason. Please come out and participate in this major event for Chad.

Installation of 2018 Officers will be December 29 at 6pm and will be an open installation. We look forward to seeing you there
