Your explanation of the program’s use of technology as well as the program’s Champions Club, which recognizes football players who go above and beyond as students at MHS, was especially informative and interesting! Yesterday, the Marion Rotary Club provided cold treats 🧊 for the Marion High School Marching Wildcat Band during their afternoon snack break at band camp 🎷🥁🎺 What an appreciative and pleasant group of dedicated teenagers! 💙 We want to give a special thanks to fellow Rotarian Jordon Cockrum and to Banterra Bank for sponsoring this community service activity!

Thank you to fellow Rotarians Randy Lewis and Brendan Lewis and our guest Garrett Burroughs who spoke to us yesterday at our weekly Rotary meeting. Their presentation was entitled “The Evolution of Financial Advice” and was filled with interesting information about how financial planning has changed since Randy began his career in the industry in 1984.

We have no weekly Rotary meeting today due to observance of the July 4th holiday/America 250 celebration! 🇺🇸🧨 This makes today a perfect day to give a shoutout to the wonderful ladies of the First United Methodist Church Women! Their team graciously serves us and keeps us fed each week! They were sporting their red, white, and blue last week and looking great! 🇺🇸 Thank you, ladies, for all that you do! 🍽️ 💙 ❤️

At our weekly Rotary meeting today, we recognized the service of our 2025-26 President, Kevin Bragee. Thank you, Kevin, for your commitment to our club! 💙 We also installed our Rotary officers for 2026-27 Rotary year. Kevin passed the gavel to Melanie Poole, who will serve as President. John Power will serve as Treasurer, Vice President, and President Elect; Brendan Lewis will serve as Secretary. Our new Rotary year begins on July 1. We are seeking to expand our membership; please join us for a meeting to see what the Marion Rotary Club is doing in our community!
