Exciting news! Marion County 4-H Camp registration is open! ⛺️

4-H Camp is July 17-21 at 4-H Camp Ohio in St. Louisville Ohio.

Camp is eligible for youth age 8 and in 3rd grade through 13 or 8th grade as of 1/1/2026.

There is a three step process! You must submit the registration, pay for camp, and submit the health form by June 10th or else your registration is not complete! Please be sure to complete each step!

We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend please be courteous when parking trailers/claiming pens(use divider if you have them) as it is first come first serve help to leave room for others. We do this for the children so I ask you to act like adults you want them to be and have a great show!

Entries:
Online entries will open Monday, April 27th and close Friday, May 1st at 3:00 pm. Entry fees can be paid through the registration link or at check-in. Onsite (showman.app) payment, cash or good check only. No credit cards accepted at event. A link will be posted on our page for entry (Marion County Pork Producers). Online registration only.

Arrival:
Pigs may begin arriving on the grounds Friday, May 1st at 4:00pm.

Check-Ins:
Friday 6-8pm
Saturday 8-10am
Sunday 8-9am

Show Times:
Saturday 10:30am
Sunday 10am

Penning:
There will be 200 large pens set up, so we ask that you be willing to double your pigs up and Please bring dividers. Pens are vertical bars so please bring feeder and waterer hangers. Shavings are not provided.

Showing off trailer:
We encourage families to show off their trailers if possible.

Seating:
Bleecher seating around ring. Please bring additional chairs if desired.

Food:
The food stand will be serving breakfast lunch and dinner Saturday and Sunday.

Camping:
There are plenty of camping spots at the fairgrounds. Register on showman.app and pay then or at check in for camping $40/night.
Everyone who has paid will receive a camper pass showing you have paid when you check in.

Several vendors will be on site.

Judge announcement:
Sunday- Grant Barr

Grant is 24 years old. Originally from Dubois Pennsylvania but now resides in Mount Pleasant Pennsylvania where he works full time for the last 5 years as a herdsman for Hilty Showpigs. The operation consisting of about 175 sows and 100 head of angus cows, as well as raising a handful of his own pigs along side Hiltys. While also having the opportunity to work with families, whether it be guiding them in feeding or getting pigs ready for shows. Grant grew up showing pigs at the county, state, and national level.

Judge announcement:
Saturday- Matt Hammons
A graduate of Mississippi State University, Matt Hammons along with his wife Lisa, daughter Elaina and son Garrett reside in Pineville, Mississippi. Matt operates a commercial poultry farm, as well as being a fieldman for Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation. Matt and his family also operate Ace Genetics, that consist around of 30 Crossbred and Berkshire sows focused on helping the youth in Mississippi and across the Southeast with their livestock projects.
