Lauderdale Baptist Association exist “to advance missions causes by doing together what we cannot do alone.” (Matthew 28:19-20). The Purpose of the association is to equip local church leaders/members in: discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, ministry, worship and church planting.

The next Sentinel Training for Lauderdale County is scheduled for Saturday, September 19 at our office.

Cost is $45 made payable to MBCB Memo Sentinel Training.

Yesterday evening, Bro. Corey was able to attend the ordination council and ordination service for Bro. Caleb Wright at Oak Hill Baptist Church of Meridian, Mississippi. Caleb has served Oak Hill well and he and his family have recently answered the call to be the next pastor at Harmony Baptist in Nanih Waiya (in Winston County). Service was led by Pastor Chris Lee, who gave the charge to the candidate. Special guests included Dr. Derrick Wilson (formerly at Faith Baptist, now at Longview Heights Baptist) who preached the charge to the church and Bro. Austin Davis (Russell Baptist) who led in musical worship. Such an encouraging service.

Join me in praying specifically for three areas:
1. Pray for Bro. Caleb and his family as they make this move and as he begins this week as the pastor at Harmony.
2. Pray for Oak Hill as they seek to find their next worship leader.
3. Pray for all of our churches that we would continue to see men answer the call to ministry.
