Shiphrah and Puah probably had no idea what their obedience would set in motion.

They couldn't see Moses.

They couldn't see the Exodus.

They couldn't see the Promised Land.

They couldn't see the generations that would be impacted.

They simply feared God and did what they knew was right.

**That's faith.**

You don't have to see the whole picture to take the next step.

Your prayer matters.
Your obedience matters.
Your integrity matters.
Your choices matter.
Your faithfulness matters.

God works through the small things.

**Be faithful with what is in front of you today.**

It's easy to get caught up in the routine.

Wake up.
Go to work.
Take care of the family.
Pay the bills.
Repeat.

But what if your life is about more than simply getting through the day?

What if God is using the ordinary moments of your life for something far greater than you can see?

**You were created with purpose.**

Don't just drift through life.

Live it intentionally for Jesus.

Yesterday we were reminded that our lives are far more significant than we often realize.

Shiphrah and Puah were two ordinary women whose names could have easily been forgotten.

But they feared God.

They obeyed God.

And their seemingly small acts of courage became part of something much bigger than they could see.

You may feel ordinary. You may wonder if what you do every day really matters.

**It does.**

Your life has meaning.
Your life has purpose.
Your life is part of God's bigger picture.

Never underestimate what God can do through a life that is faithfully surrendered to Him.

Drawing from Judges 4, we explored the story of Deborah, Barak, and Jael to illustrate the weight of missed opportunities in our walk with God. We traced the recurring cycle of Israel's disobedience, oppression, and deliverance found throughout the book of Judges, connecting it to patterns still visible in the lives of believers today. Through the contrasting responses of Barak's fearful hesitation and Jael's courageous action, it challenges us to recognize that God's will is always accomplished, but that individuals can miss their appointed role in it through fear and disobedience. Central to the message is the truth that God equips people with exactly what they need, often through seemingly ordinary or repetitive tasks, and that He sovereignly arranges circumstances to position His people for moments of purpose.

There is no greater burden than a missed opportunity. This week we explored the story of Jael from Judges 4, an unknown woman who seized a divine moment and became a hero of Israel. When God arranged every detail of her circumstances, she used what was already in her hands to accomplish something extraordinary.

Like Barak, we sometimes hesitate when God calls us to act. We ride the fence, we test God, we wait for more assurance. But fear will overpower faith every time. God always accomplishes His will, and when we hesitate, the opportunity and the honor may pass to someone else.

God has already placed everything you need in your hands right now. He never calls without equipping. The question is simply this: when opportunity knocks, how will you respond?

There is no greater burden than a missed opportunity. That is the message God placed on our hearts this week through the story of Jael, an unknown woman in Judges 4 who seized a moment that changed the course of Israel's history.

God had already placed everything she needed right in her hands. A tent peg. A hammer. Skills built through years of seemingly ordinary, repetitive work. And when the moment came, she was ready.

The same is true for you. God never calls you without equipping you. What He has placed in your hands right now is not an accident. He has arranged every detail of your life for this moment. The only question is whether you will seize the opportunity or let fear talk you out of it.

Do not be a squirrel in the road. Trust God. Obey. The glory is waiting. Judges 4:14-16.
